.The following is a list of awards that are available through NIAAA/NFHS and WSSAAA, timeline and nomination format.
 
NIAAA/NFHS AWARDS
Nominations listed below are submitted by the State Awards Chair that are nominated and approved by WSSAAA board.
  1. Bruce Whitehead Distinguished Service Award, Action: Need WSSAAA Nominee by November
  2. NFHS Citation Award, Action: Need WSSAAA Nominee by November
  3. State Award of Merit: Past WSSAAA President
  4. Hall of Fame, Action: Need WSSAAA Nominee by November
 
WSSAAA AWARDS
Nomination for awards listed below are on the WSSAAA website. 
  1. Athletic Director of the Year: Submitted by WSSAAA rep for each district due 2/1
  2. Athletic Director Service Awards: Submitted by any AD in State due 3/20
  3. Commendation Awards: Submitted by any AD in State due 3/20
  4. Honor Awards: Submitted by any AD in State due 3/20
  5. Athletic Director Hall of Fame: Submitted by any AD in State by deadline due 11/15 for WSSAAA board approval.
  6. Athletic Trainer Award: Submitted by any AD in State due 3/15 and approved by Dave and committee
  7. Ali Bennett Scholarship Award: Submitted by a senior who has an AD Parent due 3/1.


​WSSAAA recognized and honors those in the State of Washington who excel in their profession in order to support student-athletes, both on and off the playing fields.
